Kingston University Business School, with over 80 academic staff, is one of the largest management development organisations in the United Kingdom. Over 2,000 students are enrolled, the majority being managers at the midpoint of their careers, attending the University at weekends and evenings. The School offers a full range of programmes, from undergraduate courses to doctoral supervision, with specialist provision in all of the principal business functions. The teaching of Business and Management at Kingston was assessed as "Excellent" by the British Government's Higher Education Funding Council in their recent national review. The MBA course offered by the Business School is accredited by the Association of MBAs. Kingston is one of a small number of schools recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Institute for Personnel Management and Development, the leading professional body in the United Kingdom. The Business School has extensive experience of working with partners outside of the United Kingdom, in particular in Greece, Russia, The Netherlands, France, Germany and Sweden. The University is the focal point for a large scale UK Government sponsored project to facilitate the development and dissemination of expertise in the use of multimedia technology into industry.
